I don't think he's someone that was introduced in the story, and if he has been introduced I think he'd be a minor chracter that we haven't noticed until now

I think so, also Iknow JKR herself has told about Regulus Black in an interview 2 mounts ago. but I believe in another fact.
maybe this R.A.B is a catchword for 3 persons.

Yeah, that's a good idea. It's be just like her to twist it like that. I originally thought the Half Blood Prince was Hagrid, because he was half giant, and it would be surprising it he was a Prince. Of course, I didn't know Prince was a surname at the time. I have a weird way of thinking.  Back to the whole reason for this thread though. Regulus Black seems like a good guess, but do we know what his middle name is? |

Rowling has told in his last interview that RAB is Regulus Black.but i cant believe an author says everything, specially secrets about her writing.
about hal blood prince as we read. thats snape andhe has named himself prince because of his mother.
but we dosent read more about his mother and her destiny. what do you think?

Well I dont think Snape's mother has a lot to do with the whole story!! She was probably just refered to in HBP in order to justify the Prince surname!!! That's my thought

I think R.A.B is Snape himself, because JKR has shown us that Snape is capable to make weird Nick names for himself and because of everything I have explained in a thread here which names : Lets talk about Snape and his mother" Im sure Snape is R.A.B himself
